Carnegie Museum Wedding – Kameron & Nick

Nick & Kameron met in the 4th grade, but it wouldn’t be until 2007 that they went out on their first date. Over 11 years of partnership, Kameron describes it as both “fantastic & formidable”. Being each other’s best friend they were there for each other throughout all of life’s challenges.

From the bride: “In December of 2016, we visited our old stomping grounds at Pitt. On a bench outside of our sophomore dorms, we discussed our mutual love and respect for one another, and we agreed upon the desire for a legal recognition of our partnership. Nick presented me with a beautiful ring and then we swiftly made our way to a dive bar for some nachos.”

I’m so excited to share this wedding with you! Matthew & these two go way back. They went to middle school together at Sewickley Academy. It is always so fun for us to photograph our friend’s weddings!

I love December weddings!! Kameron chose the perfect Anna Campbell gown. It was full sparkle head to toe. Such a gorgeous gown!

A special touch.

Kameron chose her mom’s perfume to wear on her wedding day.

A moment with dad.

Nick’s brother, Chris, helped him get ready for the wedding.

Kameron & Nick chose to do a first look prior to the wedding.

It was so sweet to watch the two of them. You can read the joy all over their faces.

Something I love doing, especially when the time is allotted, is a few family photos prior to the ceremony. Moments like these are definitely cherished.

Kameron was a beautiful bride. Her aunt made her a beautiful cloak to wear on the wedding day… It came in handy as it was a chilly Pittsburgh day!

We headed over to Heinz Chapel just before the ceremony. We snuck in a few more portraits of the couple.

This photo mirrors a photo of that Kameron’s mom has with her mother on her wedding day. Kameron’s parents also were married at Heinz Chapel.A moment alone with dad.

Carnegie Music Hall was so beautifully decorated. The Community Flower Shop did a spectacular job on the arrangements. We snagged a few photos in the actual music hall, as it is a very special space for the couple. They attended a Chris Cornell concert there and really wanted to revisit the space on their wedding day. They also Chris Cornell’s cover of “Thank You” by Led Zeppelin for their first dance.

Kameron’s parents, sister, and Nick’s brother all gave memorable speeches. Kameron mentioned that she was so emotional during the father-daughter dance.
Nick & his mom also shared an emotional dance together.

Eric of Schiemer Entertainment kept the party going! He is one of my favorite DJ’s in Pittsburgh! You can find his blog about their wedding HERE
