We’re excited to share highlights from Shannon and Domenic’s stunning Pittsburgh wedding at The Pennsylvanian, one of the city’s most iconic and elegant venues. Their day was filled with timeless details, heartfelt moments, and beautiful architecture—perfect for a couple who shares a love of historic spaces.
Ceremony at Saint Peter Catholic Church
Shannon and Domenic began their wedding day with a Catholic ceremony at Saint Peter Catholic Church of Christ Our Savior Parish, located on the Northside of Pittsburgh. The church’s historic charm and warm atmosphere made it a meaningful setting for their vows. The natural light and soft details of the ceremony made it an absolute dream to photograph.
A Romantic Color Palette
Shannon chose a romantic soft pink color palette for her bridesmaids’ dresses and floral arrangements, perfectly complementing the classic architecture of the venues. Her bouquet, created by The Flower Market, featured delicate blush tones and lush greenery—truly one of our favorites this season.
The groomsmen wore classic black suits with vintage-style pocket watches for a personal and stylish touch. It’s always fun when couples incorporate heirloom details or nods to their personalities in the wedding fashion.

Wedding Details at The Pennsylvanian
After the ceremony, we photographed the ballroom at The Pennsylvanian. This venue is breathtaking. It is a landmark wedding venue in downtown Pittsburgh. With its iconic rotunda and architectural grandeur, it’s no surprise that Shannon and Domenic chose it for their celebration—especially since architecture is a shared passion for them.
A Choreographed First Dance & Romantic Evening
During the reception, the couple wowed their guests with a choreographed first dance that was both elegant and playful. The evening flowed with laughter, dancing, and heartfelt speeches—everything you’d hope for in a joyful Pittsburgh wedding celebration.
We ended the night with intimate portraits under The Pennsylvanian’s glowing rotunda—a perfect ending to a perfect day.
