Clare and Reese’s Seven Springs Mountain Resort wedding was truly years in the making. You may remember their amazing engagement session back in fall 2019. Their wedding was originally planned for 10-10-20, the pandemic forced them to postpone. However, after nearly three years of waiting, their fall 2021 celebration finally arrived — and it was worth every moment.

Getting Ready at Seven Springs
Clare got ready at the resort surrounded by her closest friends. The mountain setting always adds a peaceful energy to wedding mornings.

Meanwhile, Reese spent time with his family before the festivities began. There was such a fun energy during these early moments.

A Lakeside First Look (With a Surprise Guest)
The couple chose to share a first look down by the lake. After waiting so long for this day, the moment was so sweet and emotional.

Then, Reese surprised Clare in the best possible way — he brought their cat for a quick snuggle before the ceremony. She had absolutely no idea, and the surprise on her face was priceless. It was one of the most personal moments of the entire day.

I knew the couple would rock the portraits at their wedding. They are so natural together in front of the camera.

Wedding Party Portraits & Champagne Celebration
Following the first look, we transitioned into bridal party portraits. This group was absolutely “goals.” They were fun, energetic, and brought nonstop laughter.

Afterward, we ended portraits with a champagne spray — always a favorite way to wrap up the formal photos with energy and celebration.

Ceremony in Meadowoods
The ceremony took place in Meadowoods at Seven Springs. The light filtering through the trees created the most beautiful late-summer glow.

Additionally, Reese’s mom serenaded guests with a beautiful song, adding another personal touch to the ceremony.

Sunset Portraits on the Airstrip
Just before the sun set completely, we stopped by the old airstrip for a few portraits. The open landscape, combined with golden light dipping beneath the horizon, made for dramatic and romantic images.

Reception in Winterberry
The reception took place in Winterberry, where the celebration truly kicked into high gear. After navigating a pandemic and long postponement, guests were ready to celebrate.

Once the formalities were wrapped up, the dance floor stayed packed. The energy was high, and the joy was undeniable.

After such a long wait, we were so happy that Clare and Reese finally had the celebration they deserved.
