Katrina and Ryan’s wedding day perfectly blended tradition and elegance. They exchanged vows at the stunning Immaculate Conception Church – St. James Parish in Washington, PA, before celebrating their reception at Bella Sera in Canonsburg.
We first met Katrina in 2019 while photographing her sister Amanda’s wedding. Reconnecting with their family made the day even more special, and we felt honored to capture another joyful celebration filled with love.
Honoring Tradition: A Church Ceremony Without a First Look
For Katrina and Ryan, tradition mattered. They chose not to do a first look and waited to see each other at the altar. Since the winter sun had already set by the time the ceremony ended, we made the most of the church’s beautiful interior for portraits. The space felt warm, intimate, and timeless.
The bridesmaids looked radiant in their wine-colored gowns, which added a touch of seasonal richness.
We loved how the charm and warmth of the church gave the portraits a soft, romantic feel.
