Groom anxiously awaits to see his bride for the first time at their first look in the Asian Woodland garden.

First Look in the Asian Woodland Garden:

For their first look and portraits, the couple chose the Asian Woodland Garden. A peaceful space inspired by traditional Japanese gardens, complete with a beautiful wood bridge and a serene lotus pond. It was the perfect setting for those quiet, emotional moments before the ceremony.

A Bridal Party Styled in Fall’s Finest Colors:

The groom stood out in a rich burgundy suit, while his groomsmen wore deep blue suits paired with coordinating burgundy pocket squares. It was a bold, modern twist perfect for fall.

The bridesmaids wore a beautiful mix of autumn-inspired tones like mustard, copper, and sage green, which popped perfectly against the garden’s golden light. Their bouquets were just as stunning, filled with red and gold-dusted roses, sunflowers, and seasonal greenery that tied the whole palette together beautifully.

A Romantic Ceremony in the Garden:

A Pittsburgh Botanic Garden wedding offers such a beautiful ceremony spot, and Morgan and Geoffrey made the most of it. Nestled among autumn trees and late-season blooms, the ceremony space felt intimate, peaceful, and perfectly in tune with the natural surroundings. With the warm glow of fall sun overhead and golden leaves underfoot, the couple said “I do”.

Golden Hour Portraits in the Fields:

As the sun began to set, Morgan and Geoffrey wandered through the open fields of the Botanic Garden, soaking in a few quiet moments together. With golden light and leaves gently falling around them, every frame felt like a scene from a romantic movie. From soft kisses among the autumn leaves to warm embraces as the sky changed colors, these sunset portraits are some of our absolute favorites from the day.

Falling Leaves, String Lights, and Sweet Traditions:

The reception took place beneath a stunning clear top tent, letting in soft natural light and giving guests uninterrupted views of the garden surroundings. As the sun set, twinkling string lights added the perfect touch of warmth and ambiance. Tables were dressed in deep wine-colored linens and decorated with lush autumn floral centerpieces, creating a cozy yet elegant vibe. One of our favorite touches? A classic Pittsburgh cookie table a sweet and sentimental tradition that guests always love!

Dancing Under the Autumn Sky:

As the sun dipped below the trees and the sky deepened into twilight, the clear tent transformed into a glowing celebration space. Morgan and Geoffrey shared their first dance beneath a canopy of string lights, surrounded by their closest friends and family.
