Longboat Key, Florida, is stunning in the spring. The salty breeze off the Gulf, the warm light, and the peaceful sound of waves brushing the shore make it feel tailor-made for love stories. It was the perfect setting for Cassie and Ryan’s elegant May wedding at the Resort at Longboat Key Club.
We loved capturing every emotional moment. From the soft morning light to the sparkling dance floor at night, each moment told the story of their day.
Getting Ready at The Resort at Longboat Key Club
The morning of the wedding was full of laughter, happy tears, and quiet moments with loved ones. Cassie spent time with her bridesmaids, mom, future mother-in-law, and grandma in her suite at the Longboat Key Club. Together, they shared memories, toasted to the day ahead, and prepared for the celebration.
As the room buzzed with energy, Cassie slipped into her Demetrios gown from Sorelle Bridal, looking radiant. Her mom added a personal touch by doing her hair, while Posh Bridal completed the look with soft, natural makeup that perfectly suited the beachside setting.
Meanwhile, across town at Lido Beach Club, Ryan and his groomsmen enjoyed a relaxed morning. They laughed, listened to music, and shared a few final words of encouragement before heading to the ceremony.
A Beachfront Ceremony Filled with Heart
Set along the sandy shores of Longboat Key, the team at Swanky Soiree Events brought the couple’s vision to life with soft blush and ivory florals on the beach.
With the sun-kissed sky as their backdrop, the couple’s closest family and friends watched with smiles and happy tears. One of our favorite personal touches was that each guest received a small bundle of five Jordan almonds, honoring Cassie’s Italian heritage. The almonds symbolize health, wealth, happiness, fertility, and longevity.
Portraits on North Beach
After the ceremony, we took Cassie and Ryan for portraits along North Beach. The sand was bright white, and the sky was a brilliant blue. The sunlight was soft and flattering, creating the perfect natural backdrop.
We captured quiet, intimate moments, as well as playful laughter while they strolled along the shore. The sparkling sand, gentle waves, and vibrant sky made every photo feel timeless, reflecting both the beauty of the day and the joy between the couple.
A Beautifully Designed Celebration Space
Every detail of Cassie and Ryan’s wedding reflected their personalities and vision. The team at Swanky Soiree Events handled month-of coordination. They managed all the details and guided the timeline so that every element from the soft coastal florals to the sparkling ice sculpture came together seamlessly.

A Joyful Coastal Reception
Once the celebration began, the energy was contagious. DJ Noah Grey & his band kept the dance floor going from the couple’s choreographed first dance to the very last song. Their laughter filled the room.
A playful, tropical touch came from Surfing Coconut, who served fresh coconuts to guests. Meanwhile, the coastal light and gentle ocean breeze added a magical feeling to every moment.
Heartfelt Toasts and Memorable Dances
The night included so many touching moments. From the cake-cutting ceremony to toasts from family and friends, every tradition highlighted the bonds of family and friendship.
In addition to their choreographed first dance, Cassie and Ryan shared special parent dances, creating tender and unforgettable memories. These moments perfectly reflected their love and the warmth of the day.
Sunset Portraits at the Marina
As the day came to a close, we took Cassie and Ryan to the marina for sunset portraits. The warm light reflected off the water, creating a romantic, golden backdrop.
