Nita and Skye envisioned a wedding day that honored both of their backgrounds while still celebrating their love in a setting as vibrant as their story. Their Hindu American fusion wedding at Eden Roc Miami Beach blended both meaningful tradition and modern coastal vibes.

When my friend, and former Sal & Bella Bride, Sabrina — an incredibly talented photographer herself — called and asked if I would fly to Miami Beach to photograph a wedding with her, I didn’t hesitate. Not only was this a destination celebration at Eden Roc, but it was also a beautiful Hindu American fusion wedding! From the moment we arrived, we knew it was going to be something special.

A Hindu Ceremony in the Spa Garden
The day began with a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony in the Spa Garden at Eden Roc. The sky was crystal blue. Not a cloud to be seen for miles. The tall palm trees swayed overhead, and the ocean breeze created the perfect setting for these two to tie the knot.

The mandap was absolutely stunning. It featured a clear acrylic structure that felt modern. The top was draped with lush white hydrangeas. The four pillars of the mandap symbolize the four parents who raised the couple, while the structure itself represents the universe.

At the center of the mandap was the ceremonial fire. It is an essential element of a Hindu wedding ceremony. It signifies purity and divine presence.

The combination of traditional rituals with the tropical Miami setting made this Hindu celebration unforgettable. I just love to photograph these cultural celebrations!

Beach Portraits and Blue Skies
After the ceremony, we walked down to Miami Beach for portraits. There’s something powerful about blending centuries-old traditions with a modern destination setting. The contrast between their vibrant wedding attire and the soft coastal tones created incredible imagery.

A View Overlooking Miami Beach
After their beach portraits, we whisked the bride back to her hotel suite at Eden Roc so that she could prepare for their second ceremony. The view from her room was phenomenal. It overlooked all of Miami Beach.

Nita had her second makeup look done by Beauty by Renata. She looked flawless — a polished glam for the evening yet soft enough for the ocean setting. She stepped into her gown out on the balcony, with the skyline and sea stretching behind her. It was a cinematic scene that literally took my breath away.

Cotton Candy Colored Skies for a Sunset First Look
As the sun began to set, the couple shared a first look before heading to their beachside ceremony. The sky turned pastel all shades of pink, blue, and lilac— a cotton candy sunset over Miami Beach.

Blue Hour Beach Ceremony
This ceremony took place seaside on Miami Beach as the sun dipped below the horizon. Officiated by the bride’s uncle, the ceremony was more personal and intimate.

After honoring Hindu rituals earlier beneath the mandap, this beachfront ceremony allowed the couple to exchange vows in a setting that was romantic and heartfelt. As the sky transitioned into blue hour, Nita and Skye shared their first kiss beneath soft twilight tones.

Reception at Eden Roc Ballroom
The celebration continued on in the Eden Roc Ballroom. The space felt sophisticated and modern, the perfect setting for a high-energy reception after such an emotional day.
