Katie and EJ chose to have their engagement session in their own backyard. This is a space that holds a lot of meaning for them. It is where they have spent many days working together, fixing projects, and gardening side by side. Because the setting was so personal, they were completely relaxed in front of the camera. There is something special about photographing couples in a space where they feel the most comfortable. The connection feels natural, the laughter comes easily, and the moments are genuine.
