This wedding day captured the perfect mix of tender emotion and joyful celebration, reflecting the love Dina and Connor share. From their romantic ceremony at Phipps Conservatory’s Tropical Forest Room to the lively celebration at the Duquesne Power Center, every moment was full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Getting Ready at Hotel Monaco
The morning began at Hotel Monaco, where both the bride and groom spent the early hours surrounded by their closest friends and family. Dina and her bridesmaids filled the suite with excitement and laughter as they got ready together. Meanwhile, Connor shared heartfelt moments with his groomsmen just a few floors away.
The couple chose to keep things traditional and not see each other before the ceremony. That decision added to the anticipation and emotion of the day, making their first look down the aisle even more special.
A Romantic Ceremony at Phipps Conservatory
The ceremony took place inside the Tropical Forest Room at Phipps Conservatory. As Dina walked down the aisle, Connor couldn’t hold back his tears. It was a moment that had everyone smiling through happy tears. Surrounded by the soft natural light, the couple exchanged vows. It was heartfelt, intimate, and beautifully personal.
Portraits on Mt. Washington & Dreamy Summer Details
After the ceremony, we headed to Mt. Washington for portraits overlooking the Pittsburgh skyline. The panoramic view was the perfect backdrop for Dina and Connor’s first moments together as husband and wife. The soft afternoon light highlighted their joy so naturally. Every smile and every glance between them felt effortless.
Their summer blue color palette paired beautifully with the backdrop of the city. One of my favorite details was the use of blue hydrangeas throughout their floral design. These soft, full blooms complemented the season perfectly and tied the entire wedding aesthetic together, romantic yet modern.
The Reception at Duquesne Power Center
After portraits, guests made their way to the Duquesne Power Center for an elegant and joyous reception. The space was transformed with soft candlelight and lush floral arrangements, setting the tone for an evening of celebration. This space is one of our favorite in Pittsburgh. Their floor to ceiling windows make for gorgeous lighting through the night!
Dinner, toasts, and laughter filled the room before the dance floor opened up. The Bachelor Boys Band kept the energy high and everyone dancing all night long. As a result, the night felt vibrant and unforgettable from start to finish.
