Derek and Mackenzie were married at The Gathering Place at Darlington Lake on a beautiful fall day. Their wedding was especially meaningful to us, as Derek is my cousin, and we were so excited to officially welcome Mackenzie to our family.
After navigating the uncertainty of Covid postponements, it was such a relief that they were able to celebrate their wedding once mandates were lifted. It made the day feel even more special. Here are some of our favorites from their wedding at Darlington Lake.
A Fall Wedding at The Gathering Place
The Gathering Place provides a scenic waterfront setting that feels both relaxed and intimate. Although we had some scattered rain throughout the day, it never took away from the celebration. In fact, the soft fall light and overcast skies created beautiful conditions for portraits.
These two handled everything with joy and ease. Rain or shine, their day felt perfect.
