2017 In Review

Another year has come and gone. It is hard to believe how fast the time goes.

2017 was definitely a special year. I started the year worried because wedding season was slower than it usually is for us. Little did I know this was a blessing in disguise. If you have followed these posts the past couple years I have touched on the fact that we almost lost my dad due to his heart disease.

He went in for open heart surgery in June for an ultimately unsuccessful surgery. His name was placed on the transplant list and we received a call on the busiest week of our year, Labor day week that they found a heart that was a match and my dad would be receiving a transplant in the next 2 days.

This is my favorite photo. My dad waking up after receiving his new heart. Full of smiles. The support was overwhelming. Not only were our clients so understanding with the delivery of photos being delayed a week but our friends, family and even acquaintances were there for us every step of the way.

I remember last year announcing to everyone the birth of my son and my nephew Wesley. This year Wesley had an announcement of his own. He is getting upgraded to big brother. My niece, Claire will be joining the family in May 2018.

Matthew & I are so fortunate to have our three happy and healthy munchkins. They are getting so big!

Matthew’s sister, Daniella also tied the knot this year. We welcomed her new husband Joseph into the family. We look forward to getting to know him & watching them grow as a married couple!

What a year we have had. As always we want to give a sincere and heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful clients. You guys make this job so special. I know I speak for both myself and Matthew when I say I can’t imagine having a job that I love more.

We wish you all many wonderful years of love, happiness & prosperity !!
