Marriott City Center Wedding. Shayna & Moe

Shayna & Moe are such a sweet pair. I am so excited to share their Pittsburgh Marriott City Center wedding. We met Shayna at the Boutique Bridal Show in January. I was thrilled when she contacted us about photographing their wedding. We thoroughly enjoyed their traditional Jewish wedding. Here are some of our favorite images from their big day!

Shayna’s dress was perfect. I loved the sleeves on her gown. It was very fitting.

This bubbly bunch of girls had a blast during portraits.

Moe got ready with a little help from his father.

He made a very handsome groom.

These gentlemen were always up for fun!

We started the wedding traditions with the Kabalas Panim. During this time the bride and groom have still not seen each other. The women all came up to give well wishes to the bride.

Then comes the Tisch & Bedekin.

Tisch is the groom’s meal. The men gather and celebrate with alcohol, singing, and Hors D’oeuvres.

During this time they also sign the Ketubah.

The Bedekin is the first time that Moe and Shayna saw each other in a week!! The men dance him out from the Tisch and all the way up to the platform to see his bride!

After seeing Shayna Moe placed her veil down for the remainder of the ceremony.

Then her dad gave her a blessing. Followed by Moe’s father & her grandfather.

After the Bedekin the men dance Moe out of the room to prepare for the Chuppah.

The weather for the Chuppah part of the ceremony was gorgeous. It was full of special moments.

Toward the end of the ceremony, Lev Tahor or “pure heart” was played. This was such a sentimental moment because before she passed away, Shayna’s mother would sing it to her children each night.We had a great time during the formal portraits.

We really enjoyed the dancing at the reception. It was vivacious and full of life!

The wedding finished around 7pm so we headed back outside for a few more evening portraits. I am so glad we did. You can see the love between these two!
