Jessica & David. Leatherwood Mountain Resort Wedding

Another destination wedding under our belt. I have to say I love traveling for weddings. I love seeing new things. We traveled to North Carolina for my cousin David and his fiance Jessica’s wedding.  We had a fabulous weekend at the resort. The cabins were secluded and comfortable. It was a nice time away to spend with family & friends. We are so excited to welcome Jessica into the family.  We wish these two so many happy years together!!

Their Leatherwood Mountain Resort Wedding was absolutely breathtaking. Since the venue was a horse farm set in the mountains, Jessica set a rustic country theme.  Here are some of our favorite images from their wedding.

Jessica’s Maggie Sottero gown was stunning.

The Father-Daughter first look was an emotional one.

I asked Steve if he could remember the first time he held Jessica in his arms.. he looked at me through tears and nodded… there was not a dry eye in the house…including mine!!A Kleenex tearjerker moment!!

Matthew had a great time hanging with David & the guys at their cabin. Laughs and jokes were all around.

We had a little weather scare the day of the wedding, scattered storms were rolling in…

but the sun came through during the ceremony!!

 

There were a ton of DIY details that made this wedding so personal! I love that!

The toasts were all touching. Tears & memories flowed!


To end a perfect night of dancing and fun, family and friends sent the couple off with a sparkler exit!!
