Duquesne University Power Center Ballroom Wedding – Elyse & Jason

I was so happy to work Elyse & Jason’s wedding as the assistant photographer to my good friend Jorge Santiago. The wedding was so gorgeous. Here are a few of my favorite images of mine from the wedding.

We started the day of with wedding preparations at the Marriott City Center in Pittsburgh. Elyse’s suite had a beautiful window we just had to utilize. Large window in the getting ready room makes for gorgeous photos!

Their ceremony was held at the beautiful Smithfield United Church in Pittsburgh. It was a touching ceremony.

Elyse & Jason chose Mellon Park in Shadyside to start their wedding portraits. The fall colors laid a beautiful background.

The evening light was gorgeous.

While Jorge headed up to Mt. Washington with the couple. I headed back to the Duquesne Power Center Ballroom to capture some detail photos.

The Duquesne Power Center is one of my favorite wedding venues. The windows provide such beautiful light even when the shades are drawn.

Elyse & Jason kept everything classic. I love the vintage feel with the old books and antique cake topper.

It wouldn’t be a classic Pittsburgh wedding without a massive cookie table full of delectable treats. I may be biased but Italian wedding cookie tables like this one are the best!

My evening came to an end after the emotional special dances. I was so happy to have shared in this wedding day.
